The Care Team (under the umbrella of the Diaconate) works with the minister to keep in touch with members and friends of the church with emphasis on those who are no longer able to attend services and other events because of health issues. Contact is also made as a form of encouragement for those facing a medical issue/surgery or personal loss within their family.
A core group of people also provide transportation to appointments and grocery shopping. Calls and cards are very much appreciated by those who are shut-in for various reasons.
